Dear High School Students and Parents:

Applications are now being considered for the position of Junior Guide for Camp Moonlight, an adventure oriented program that emphasizes education, awareness and conservation values while fostering a greater appreciation for the natural world.  A select number of students, ages 14-17, will be chosen to participate in this program, offering them the opportunity to mentor younger campers, learn critical life and outdoor skills, and assist our Camp staff in a fun and educational environment.

Junior Guides will be responsible for helping lead groups of children during each day of camp, assisting them with meals and in all other areas of our routine during the 4-day camp sessions. They will practice leadership and responsibility, and provide invaluable support to our adult Guides. Junior Guides will also have the opportunity to receive school or community service credit for their participation, providing an outstanding opportunity for these students to learn important life and vocational skills like teaching, naturalist, outdoor education and leadership.

Camp Moonlight takes place in two sessions; July 23-26, and July 30- August 2.  We will also hold a mandatory paid training week July 16-20.  Applicants may apply to work for one or both sessions, and those selected will have the opportunity to attend camp as a paid staff member, including free meals, t-`shirt and water bottle.

Applications and recommendations are due May 1st, 2018. You can learn more about Camp Moonlight online at www.campmoonlightmt.com, and if you have any questions about this program, please feel free to contact me at (406) 581.3307 or
