Transfer my SBCC scholarship to my four-year

University, State, or Vocational school

If you are transferring to a four-year college or university or an advanced vocational school in the 2025-2026 school year, the scholarship you are awarded must be transferable as set out in the requirements of each scholarship. Check if your scholarship is transferable by looking at the description in the Scholarship Opportunities Booklet linked within the SBCC Scholarships website.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

Submit the following documents/information to the SBCC Financial Aid Scholarship Coordinator either by email or by USPS mail. If sent by email, make sure to use your Pipeline email account.  

  • Are you a Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 transfer?
  • Transcript from new school – Fall 2025 unofficial transcripts with number of units visible and student’s full name (or Spring 2026 schedule of classes if a Spring transfer)
  • Name the file as follows: SBCC K#, Last name (e.g. K00000000, Vaqueros)
  • SBCC Student ID Number (K#)
  • Name of Transfer School
  • Student ID Number at Transfer School

DEADLINES

  • Fall 2025 Transfer - Friday, November 14, 2025
  • Spring 2026 Transfer - Friday, April 17, 2026

If you will not be able to submit the information by the date above, you must notify the Scholarship Coordinator by email to scholarships@pipeline.sbcc.edu in order to not lose eligibility for your scholarship.

Transfers requests will be processed starting July 1, 2025.

Requests cannot be processed prior to enrollment and proof by academic transcript. Upon receipt of all requested information above, funds are transferred to your transfer school’s Financial Aid Office within six weeks.
