Select the Youth Activities Tile
- From your REPORTER home page, select the Youth Activities tile.
- You will next be taken to the Youth Center page, where you can manage your family(editing or adding).
- You have the option to also select Upcoming Youth Activities and Applications.
Account Creation & Activity Selection
- Click the link from the Arboretum website/email to view all of the Summer Camp Activities.
- If you are already signed in with a REPORTER account, simply add your desired activities to the cart.
- When you’ve finished adding activities, click the Cart button in the top right corner.
- Once in the cart, if you would like to add other activities, click the “Back” button on the right.
- If you are not signed in, find your desired activity and then select “Login to Sign Up”.
- If you already have an account, click “Brickyard Login” & sign in with your username and password.
- If you do not have a REPORTER account, click “Create New Account” button.
- The new account creation page will open in a new tab.
- Enter your details to create your account, and then click “Create Account”.
- Note: Please use your information to set up your account. You will set up your child(ren) at a later step.
- Click the “Brickyard Login” button and log in with your new account.
- You’ll then see shopping cart with selected activity
- Once in the cart, if you would like to add additional camps, click the “Back” button on the right and choose the “Add to Shopping Cart” button next to the camps you choose.
Once in Your Cart
- Choose the number of participants you want to register for the activity.
- Select which child you wish to register for each activity in your cart from the “Select Minor” drop down menu.
- If you do not have any available minors in the dropdown list, you will need to add your children to the Family section of your profile. To add children:
- Click “Manage Family” to the right of the dropdown.
- In the Edit Family popup, click the green “+” next to Youth Registrants.
- Fill out the details in the Add Minor popup and click “Save”.
- Click “Save” at the bottom of the Edit Family popup.
- When you return to the Cart, select your child in the “Select Minor” dropdown list.
- If the activity has Registration Questions, click the “Incomplete” link to answer Registration Questions.
- If there are additional items listed that you wish to add to your order, click “Add to order” next to the item
- Click the link to the registration policies to see Cancellation/Refund policies, and then click the checkbox to the left to agree to them.
- Once you’re ready to complete your checkout, click “Proceed to Order Summary” on the right.
Proceed To Order Summary
- After clicking “Proceed to Order Summary”, the payment type will be set to Pay now with a credit card. Click “Checkout” at the bottom to continue.
- After clicking “Checkout”, you will see your cart total. Click “Continue” to complete payment.
- You should then see the fields to enter your Card Information, Billing Address, & Contact Info. After completing the information, click “Continue” at the bottom of the page.
- After clicking “Continue”, a payment review page titled “Is This Credit Card Information Correct?” will appear
- If all the information displayed is correct, click “Confirm” to submit the payment
- If you need to edit any of the information, click “Edit”
- If you want to cancel the payment, click “Cancel”
The Confirmation Page
- After selecting “Confirm”, you will return to your Order Summary page.
- On the left, you’ll see your order details, including a link to “Download Order Summary”. Note that this will also be emailed to you.
- To fill out the forms required for your child’s participation in this activity, click “Complete Required Forms”.
- You’ll then see which forms are required for each child for each camp. Click each form to fill out the required details. After filling out all fields and signing with your digital signature, click “Submit” at the bottom of the form. The status of the form should then change to Submitted.
To Complete Forms or View Activity Info Later
- If you did not complete forms at the time of registration, you can complete them at a later time.
- To fill out forms or view registration information, navigate to reporter.ncsu.edu and click “Brickyard Login”.
- After signing in with your Brickyard account, you will see your registrations under the Upcoming Youth Activities section of your dashboard.
- Next to each activity, you will see “View Details” and “View/Edit Forms”. Clicking “View Details” will show descriptions and schedule information for the activity. Clicking “View/Edit Forms” will display all required forms for each activity and their current status.
- Any forms with a “Pending” status need to be completed prior to the start of the activity.
