SUCE PEP PACKAGES S1 2024: INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS
PEP Hours are required by the Professional Engagement Program (PEP). All first years are enrolled in PEP1A which requires you to have a minimum of 40 hours claimed by the end of the semester. By coming to our academic and industry packages and additional independent events, you can get most of your hours done!
So, what does AUTOMATIC mean? This means you can receive up to 50 PEP ENG Hours automatically to your Sonia Dashboard with NO claims and reflections needed!
All event attendance records for our packages will be uploaded to the ‘Attendance Spreadsheet’ and will be made available from Tuesday 14th May Week 12 to Friday 17th May Week 12(11:59PM) to confirm your recorded attendance. If you find an issue with our attendance, please log an inquiry through our Facebook Messenger page.
Requirements
The amount of automatic PEP hours you are able to receive through the SUCE PEP Packages will be:
Your student details including name, unikey, SID, and questions for the presenters will be collected in the mandatory pre-event sign up form (on SUCE website and Facebook page)- make sure you complete this form correctly for each event
You must attend the Zoom for the entire session using your University Account (e.g., suce1234@uni.sydney.edu.au). Personal accounts will not be recorded.
If you miss a PEP package event, you may be able to catch up by watching a recording on YouTube and filling in the YouTube Attendance Form in its description. YouTube Attendance closes Friday 17th May Week 12.
Check the PEP attendance spreadsheet (on SUCE website) which will be made available Tuesday 14th May Week 12 to confirm your recorded attendance.
You should message us immediately to rectify any errors in the spreadsheet. After Friday Week 12, we can no longer fix any attendance issues and you will have to submit your own claim on Sonia for the hours you attended. You shall receive your automatic PEP hours by the end of the semester.
