Renaissance news:

Please check the star card lists posted by the front office. Cards will be passed out soon to upperclassmen (prior to the expire date of your current card!).  Freshmen will get their cards during a quick meeting during advisory March 27th!

SENIORS!!!!!!!!!  If you missed the meeting on February 27th - Important information regarding GRADUATION, Testing dates, deadlines, Project Graduation, etc were discussed.   You will need to see Mrs. Dalton in room L-211 to get the information you missed.

Senior Class Mural:

Any senior wanting to help with painting the mural, we will start on this project on Monday, March 5, 2018 during advisory.  Please sign up with Mrs. Dalton for the day you would like to help out.  Only 5 students will be allowed to work on the mural at one setting due to the limited space on the ramp.  Make sure you bring paint clothes if you’re going to participate in this activity.  Any questions, see Mrs. Dalton in room L-211.


Interested in going into education? Looking for an after school job?  If you are 18yrs or older, please stop by the Counseling office and speak to Mrs. Click to check out an opportunity.

The Doghouse Deals of the Day:

Looking to help support graduates from Lonedell as they continue their education in college?  Lonedell is currently selling raffle tickets to win $10,000.  Ticket numbers are limited, cost is $100 per chance.  See Mrs. Click if interested.

SAVE THE DATE:  March 22 Men’s Wearhouse will be on campus from 4:30 to 6:30 for anyone wanting to rent a tux for Prom.  A representative will have samples, will do measurements and fittings, and take any orders.  A week prior to prom they will deliver the orders to the high school.   A  shipment box will be provided for all returns.

The Coffee Cart is now open daily from 7:45-8:00 am every morning outside the counseling center. Coffee and Tea are available starting at .75 cents per cup.  All proceeds benefit the St. Clair Closet.

Summer Opportunities

Club News

Key Club meetings are held every Monday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Schoonover’s room L201.  Check out our bulletin board across from Mrs. Schoonover’s room for more information about this service-based club.

STUCO - The next hourly StuCo meeting is Wednesday, April 4th, during 1st hour. Check out our event and meeting schedule here.

SCHS Bowling Club-

Practices are every Tuesday at 4:15 pm. Be sure to check your bowling schedules.  Don’t forget to notify your coach Ms. Brenda if you will not be able to attend practice or will not be able to bowl on your scheduled day.

Art Club -  Dues are $10. Everyone is invited to attend.  Required meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Game Club-Meets every Monday and Thursday after school in the Cafeteria. This Club includes multiple interests such as board games, video games, card games, app games, anime, comic books, cosplay, sci-fi enthusiasts, fantasy/magic and more! We hope to see you there!

Pep Club!

You may sign up for Pep Club in Ms. Robertson’s room L-215, before or after school. Dues are $5. I ordered a SMALL amount of extra shirts if you didn’t preorder one. You may stop by before or after school to claim yours. Shirts are $15.

TSA (technology student association) State competition in April (22-24)  

Archery Team: Information was given out on flight times for State Tournament.  See Coach Wilkens if your not sure of your times.  Some are shooting on Friday March 23, so make sure you look over the schedule carefully.    State Tournament Begins Friday, March 23.  Flight times for Friday and Saturday are posted for both Bulls Eye and 3D.   May 10th will begin the National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky.  Flight times are to be determined.

Scholar Quiz - The Scholar Quiz team gained victories over New Haven and St. James in the Conference tournament this weekend.  Brady Branscum was named to the All-Conference Team and Dora Bell was named to the JV All Conference Team.  Congratulations to all quizzers.  

Coach Bulger and Coach Prichard would like to extend a special thanks to Mrs. Click, Julia Click and Mr. Harrison for helping staff the Conference Tournament. While this concludes the JV Tournament, Varsity will compete in Districts in April.
