Call to order:  Jina calls the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.

  1. Looking for input from each of the sites on local venues for social gatherings
  2. Looking at first social meeting on a Friday in September or October
  1. Secretary: Will distribute meeting minutes for approval electronically
  2. Treasurer: Operating statement (handout)
  3. Membership: Distribution of membership cards
  1. New google form to update member contact information (sticker on membership card has link to form)

  1. Confirmation of Bargaining Team Lead
  1. Eric moves that we appoint Erin Arthur Lead Negotiator for 2017-18 bargaining sessions. Motion passed unanimously.
  1. Discussion of roles of President and Vice President in strategy meetings and bargaining sessions
  2. First bargaining team strategy meeting set for 8/21
  3. Discussion of proposed strategy meeting with our CTA liaison, Joella Aragon, set for 9/18
  4. Bargaining Team recommends publishing our Budget / Operating statements to our website.
