Paulina Plizga was born in 1971 in Wodzisław Śląski.

In 1992, she graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Krakow.

Growing up, she watched the work of her mother-tailor, which instilled her passion for fashion and artistic abilities.

In 1992, she moved to Paris, where she began working as an independent fashion designer, pursuing one of her dreams.

She presented her first Parisian “trash couture” collection in June 1994.

In 1996 she joined the showroom for young designers and started working with numerous boutiques: "La Botica" in Paris, "Les Créatures" in Marais, "404" in Forum des Halles, "ITO shop" in Strasbourg, "Fragile" in New York, "Move gallery" in The Hague.

From spring 2003, she sold her collections at the "YSH shop" in Tokyo.

In 2005, she was invited to Japan to present "Trash Factory" - a performance, where in a replica of her Parisian atelier, erected in the Laforet shopping center in Tokyo, she worked in front of customers, fulfilling their orders in the "instant fashion" process.

In 2008, she presented the project "NEST" at the "Korczyński" gallery in Paris.

"NEST" is an installation and performance inspired by the old Japanese legend "Tsuruno Ongaeshi". Paulina worked on the gallery site with her sewing machine, creating nests composed of small pieces of fabric and tangled threads, video recording the reactions of passers-by and displaying them on the screen of an old TV, which was part of an installation in the shape of a big nest.

In the years 2009-2013 she regularly showed her collections during Poland Fashion Week, often turning a fashion show into a creative performance, which resulted in numerous publications in the Polish fashion press.

In 2012, she received the K Magazine Award for creativity as "the best designer of 2012 in the Off Schedule Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Section in Łódź".

In 2013-2016, she created costumes for several performances:

2013 "Architecture of Light" - Paulina Wycichowska, Polish Dance Theater in Poznań,

2014 "Legends" by Kaya Kołodziejczyk, Bytom Theater of Dance and Movement Rozbark,

2014 "Back to the roots" Marlena Hermanowicz, Shakespeare Festival Gdańsk,

2016 "Audycja" by Kaya Kołodziejczyk, Body / Mind Festival Warsaw.

In 2015, she moved to Roubaix, in the north of France, where she joined the "Grand Bassin", an associative showroom of local makers where she sells her clothing and jewelry collections.

Her works have been presented in galleries and museums:

2008 - "NEST" - Korczyński Gallery, Paris
