More on looping…
- Students work through 1 task at a time at their own pace.
- When looping time is done they move the paper clip to where they left off so they know where to pick it back up the next day.
- For this version of looping, these are all tasks they can do independently while parent works with other children. Loops can also be done in the following ways:
- Doing core curriculum daily (Math and Language Arts) then looping through things like science, history, art, reading aloud, music, nature time, etc…)
- Having multiple ways to practice a specific topic and students loop through the different resources\curriculum (E.x. Math facts loop: flashcards, online game, Krypto, dice games, math facts board games, worksheets, etc…)
- Other independent looping activities could include: poetry memorization, typing, independent writing, nature journaling, art project, flashcards, workbooks, audio books, puzzles or brain teasers, etc...
