Sci High Summer School Information

Sci High will offer a summer school session in order to provide an opportunity for students to get back on track for an on-time graduation. The summer school is meant for students who have either failed a course or who need to take additional courses due to enrollment in programs like NOCCA or the New Orleans Career Center.

Summer School Overview: Summer school classes will be conducted through an online platform, and students will have access to their courses from any computer or tablet with internet access. Students will also come to Sci High twice a week to work on their courses with the support and supervision of a Sci High summer school teacher. Students may enroll in up to two whole credits (or four half credits).

Eligibility: Sci High’s summer school is only open to students who completed the 18-19 school year with Sci High. Students may be excluded from the summer school based on their disciplinary record.

When: June 10-July 12, on campus Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8AM-2PM (no on campus session the week of July 4)

Registration: Registration must be completed by June 5. Families may register by visiting the Sci High main office April 1-10 or May 20-June 5.

Cost: $100 per half credit due by June 8. All payments must be made by cash or money order.

Transportation and Supplies: Students must provide their own transportation and any supplies such as headphones or home internet access. Sci High will provide a chromebook and internet access on the Tuesday and Thursday sessions.
