Ready to take the stage and show us what makes you an ICON? We’re thrilled to announce auditions for Impact Dance Center’s 2025–2026 Company programs—designed to elevate your skills, boost your confidence, and help you shine brighter than ever.

At Impact, every dancer has something unique, and we’re here to help you own it. Whether you're already performing at a high level or discovering your spark, there’s a place for you to be bold, authentic, and unapologetically YOU.

Our Company is more than just training—it’s about stepping into your power, showing up with intention, and leaving your mark—on stage, in class, and in life. It’s about moving with purpose, owning your space, and embracing who you are.

Auditions are designed to be a positive and supportive experience. Dancers will be seen and encouraged throughout the process, and parents will receive clear communication every step of the way.

Please read this packet carefully—it includes everything you need to know. If you're new to the Company program (not currently a member of Connection, Core, or Core Plus), plan to attend a virtual parent information session:

COMPANY PROGRAMS FOR 2025-2026

We are casting for the following groups:

• Connection: Premiere, Mini, Junior, Teen/Senior
• Core: Premiere, Mini, Junior, Teen/Senior
• Core Plus: Teen/Senior

Every placement is made with care, respect, and a deep understanding of how dancers grow best. We believe in nurturing potential, honoring each dancer’s path, and building groups that thrive together—on stage and in spirit.

We ask families to approach auditions with clarity and confidence. If a dancer accepts a placement and later steps away, it can unintentionally impact others. We value empowered, thoughtful choices—please take time to reflect together before auditioning.

A Few Important Notes

Dancers currently enrolled at Impact will receive priority consideration. New students may be invited to join after returning students have been placed, space permitting. All dancers—new and returning—must audition each season. Your studio account must be current to register.

AUDITION DETAILS

FOR RETURNING IDC COMPANY MEMBERS

Returning Company dancers will attend placement classes based on their anticipated 2025–2026 company level. For example, a current Mini Core dancer in 5th grade will audition with the Junior Core group for 6th grade. There is no audition fee for returning students this season. FOR PROSPECTIVE IDC COMPANY MEMBERS

New dancers interested in joining Impact Dance Center’s Company Programs will attend an audition based on their grade level for the 2025–2026 school year. Prior dance training is required. Please click on the group you are auditioning for to enroll.

AUDITION FEES

• Current non-company Impact dancers: $60 non-refundable
• Dancers not currently enrolled at Impact: $60 non-refundable

WHAT TO WEAR

Auditions should feel exciting—not scary. We want you to feel confident, comfortable, and celebrated for who you are and how you show up. A neat appearance helps you feel as good as you look—put a little extra care into your presentation, and it will shine through in your dancing.

FEMALE DANCERS

• Wear a solid-colored crop top and form-fitting dance shorts or briefs, or a solid-colored leotard with black tights (tights should be worn over).
• Hair should be pulled back neatly in a bun, slick ponytail, French twist, or other secure style.
• Lip gloss or lipstick is totally welcome—if it makes you feel good, go for it.
• Bring all dance shoes.

MALE DANCERS

• Wear a solid-colored fitted t-shirt or tank top with dance pants.
• Hair should be pulled back if needed.
• Bring all dance shoes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to check in, warm up, and get settled. Late arrivals may not be allowed to audition.

Each audition includes the following components:

• Warm-Up: Light center work to help us assess your flexibility, strength, and overall technique.
• Ballet: A short combination focused on posture, control, and musicality.
• Jazz: You’ll learn a choreographed phrase and perform it in small groups.
• Tap: Across-the-floor skills or a short phrase. Everyone will tap—don’t worry, just do your best!

HOW TO REGISTER

All auditioning dancers must submit:

1. All dancers must submit the Audition Registration Form by the deadlines listed below. Late forms will incur a $20 processing fee—no exceptions.
   
           Returning Company Dancers (2024–2025): Friday, April 25 at 9:00 PM
           New Applicants: Monday, May 26 at 9:00 PM
   
2. Parent/Guardian Consent included in the registration form for dancers under 18.

If you’re not currently a Company dancer at Impact, you’ll need to upload a few additional items with your audition form:

1. Recent Headshot: We just want to see your face! A school photo is totally fine. No need for anything professional.
2. Proof of Age: A copy of your birth certificate or any official document that verifies your age works great.

We know this might feel a little intimidating, but don’t stress. These materials help us get to know you better. Be prepared, be yourself—that’s who we want to meet.

AFTER THE AUDITION

If you're accepted into Company 2025–2026, welcome to a team that values hard work, heart, and collaboration. Here’s what’s next:

1. Register for Classes
   Company registration opens Tuesday, June 17, 2025 (times TBA). All 2025–2026 Company dancers are required to register for their weekly training classes on this day. If registration and deposit are not received, your spot may be offered to another qualified dancer.
2. Attend Summer Training
   The Impact Intensive is required and will be held August 22–24, 2025.
3. Sign the Company Agreement
   The Letter of Commitment and non-refundable commitment deposit are due by Monday, June 16, 2025. This deposit will be applied to your Company account for the upcoming season and goes toward costs like costumes, conventions, choreography, and entry fees.

INITIAL COMMITMENT DEPOSITS

• Connection: $325
• Core: $450
• Core Plus: $575

Dancers who are selected will commit to the full Company schedule, including training and events, from August 2025 through July 2026.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

If your dancer needs to withdraw from the Company program after the season begins due to reasons such as a change in interest, injury, financial concerns, or scheduling conflicts, the following withdrawal fees will apply based on the program level:

• Connection: $150
• Core: $250
• Core Plus: $350

You will also be responsible for any fees already paid on your behalf from the Company account, including but not limited to costumes, choreography, and event fees.

We encourage families to carefully consider their commitment before registering. If withdrawal becomes necessary, please notify us as soon as possible.

CAN’T MAKE IT?

If you’d like to audition but can’t attend on May 31, complete the registration form by May 30, 2025 and email us at company@impactdancecenter.com to schedule a makeup audition.
