My name is Mark Tasi, I am 17 years old. I am from San Francisco, and I like to do art to express my emotions. My portrait is half of my face, I used leather for my face, I used a textured fabric for my hair. The other half is the view of the city with clouds and waves. This relates to my American Dream because it's about being successful and accomplishing my dreams. For my title I chose ¨Black Sheep¨ because I’ve been feeling out of place and not fitting with certain crowds, but I never forced myself to be someone I'm not.

For my American Flag I used red, blue, yellow, green, white, black. I used yellow because of riches and joy, it expresses the higher class and joy because I want people to have nothing but joy in this world but a lot of things can happen.
