4 Day Schedule Adjustment for K-6 Students

Dear K-6 MaST Schools Families,

Each MaST School has worked to secure 4 days for children in grades K-6 starting on 4/26. Assignments will be based on the selection form that was put out a few weeks ago. With the 4 day option, children will be spaced a minimum of 3 feet apart, which will impact the process of quarantining under the CDC guidelines and the Philadelphia Department of Health. Each campus is unique and adjustments are being made as quickly as possible.

Notices confirming the 4 day adjustment to your child’s schedule will be sent out to families by teachers via Remind. If you have not heard by the end of this week, that means that we are still waiting for additional seating in your child’s classroom or we have reached the maximum capacity seating to allow students to fit into classrooms safely according to CDC guidelines. Once the accommodation can be met, your child’s teacher or local building leader will reach out to you. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher and they will be able to direct you to the proper contact.

If you filled out the 4 day survey and indicated you needed transportation, the school has arranged for the switch to 4 days. Any transportation changes moving forward will need notice in order to be arranged.
