Steve Young Joins Sunrise Strategic Partners As Executive Vice President, Managing Director - Commercial Operations, Vincent Love Named Executive Vice President, Managing Director - Investments

Sunrise Strategic Partners (“Sunrise”), a Boulder, CO-based accelerator of emerging brands, today announced that Steve Young has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Managing Director - Commercial Operations. In this role, Steve will provide expertise to portfolio companies in functional areas such as strategy, marketing, sales, innovation, and operations. Additionally, Vincent Love will become Executive Vice President, Managing Director - Investments. Since joining Sunrise in 2016, Vincent has served as Chief Operating Officer and will continue leading all Sunrise investment activity in this new role.

Prior to joining Sunrise, Steve worked for General Mills for nearly 20 years. He was most recently responsible for the Annie’s, Inc. and EPIC acquisitions and business performance, and led General Mills’ broader $700+ million portfolio of natural and organic businesses. Steve has held U.S. and global management positions at the officer level within General Mills on diverse categories ranging from yogurt, cereal, baking, meals, and better-for-you snacks.

Prior to joining Sunrise, Vincent spent more than 10 years in investment banking at Citigroup, focused on the consumer and retail sectors. He advised clients on numerous transactions including Boulder Brands’ acquisitions of Udi’s Healthy Foods and Glutino Food Group, Colgate-Palmolive Company’s acquisition of the Sanex brand, the sale of Peet’s Coffee & Tea and the initial public offering and split-off of Mead Johnson Nutrition.
