Grad Assembly February 17th
There will be a mandatory assembly for all Grads during an extended Focus block on Feb 17th.
Grad Package - Google Form & Fees Friday March 5th
This year the bulk of student and family Grad information is going to be collected via the Google Form linked below. Hard copies are available in the office upon request. Instructions for the payment of associated fees, either online or via the Accounts Office, are located within the form. Contained within the form is information and instructions relating to:
The deadline for the submission of both information and fees is Friday March 5th. Everyone who completes the grad package google form by Friday March 5th we receive a Grad lanyard.
Grad Stage walk Writeup
These 280 characters will be read by selected students as the Grad walks across the stage to receive their Grad Certificate. Typically these write ups focus on one or more of the following three areas

Valedictorian Speak-off Assembly March 11th
Grads will attend a special assembly during Focus Time on Monday. Valedictorian finalists will briefly present to the Grad Class their rationale for selection to the role. The two Valedictorians are selected by secret ballot at the end of the assembly. The 2021 Grad Gift finalists will also be voted upon during the assembly.
Capstone Project - Capstone March 5th and Volunteer/Work experience April 1st
The successful completion of Career Life Connections and its Capstone Project is a Ministry graduation requirement. Significant efforts have been made to support all Grads in understanding both the significance of this task, as well as the expectations and processes involved. Contact Ms Taggart (304) or Ms Buckingham (219) for more information. The Capstone project is due March 5th plus the 30 hours of work/volunteer experience by April 1st.
Grad Clothing Order Post Spring Break
There will be a second round of Grad Clothing orders available in March after spring break. The online store will reopen for a few weeks. See Mr Turner in room 300 for more information.
Graduation Recognition Ceremony Date TBA

Location: Oak Bay High School Dave Dunnet Theatre and Grounds
Grad Cost: No cost, covered by graduation fees
Guest Ticket: If allowed by COVID19 protocols - 2 guests per grad.
Schedule: Grads will sign up in groups of 15 maximum. (Sign up sent out later in Spring). Grads will wear their Oak Bay graduation regalia and walk across our stage to receive their diploma and have their stage walk read. Following the stage walk the group of 15 grads and guests will have an opportunity to take photos in a designated area on the school grounds.
