Nikki Rivera’s vision for Pennsylvania — “a government that works for all the people” — is matched by her track record of strong leadership in the classroom and on the Manheim Township School District school board. Per Nikki’s website, her vision includes strong public education, strong unions and a strong workforce, efficient and effective physical and mental health care options, strong environmental health and making marginalization a thing of the past. That is the Pennsylvania I want to live in, and Nikki is the kind of leader who can deliver.

I have followed Nikki closely during her tenure on the Manheim Township school board, particularly as president. Nikki is always thoughtful and prepared. Nikki listens! She seeks to understand, to meet people where they are. The combination of deep preparation and a warm and welcoming approach was exactly what we needed.
We faced difficult seasons: the pandemic, and a determined minority trying to ban books and marginalize certain students. She led long, contentious meetings with grace and patience. When a book was challenged, Nikki read it! Nikki stood up for the rights of every student in Manheim Township — thus making it possible for every student to receive the excellent education that each of them deserves.
