Code of Conduct

Don’t be disrespectful, we don’t tolerate hate of any kind. One warning, then ban.

Use screen name, first name, nickname depending on their preference. Don’t Know? Ask.

Base System & Hacks

Whitehack 3rd Edition is the base game system.

For everything else use table consensus, no server-wide changes without big process.

Basic setting overview

PCs are adventurers from lands spread far and wide.

The Town is generic and far, far away from any major form of civilization.

Has all adventuring requirements.

PCs can take Downtime, Carouse while in Town.

The Wilderness is everything outside Town, go out and explore it!

Adventures take place sometime after the year 453, decide at table

We all fill the narrative gaps as we go!

Character generation

See base system for full details. Here’s a handy quick-start guide if you’re interested!

Simplified outline:

  1. Roll 3d6 six times, these are your STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA
  2. Choose class; roll HP, copy AV, HD, ST, from tables, decide Slots and Groups if you want
  3. Equip character

Freedom over keywords[1] (e.g. Slots and Groups). Create fiction about the far-away lands!

Item kits, tools and tips available as-needed (see Options). Post char info in #wm-chars.

Scheduling

GMs post the adventure and their available timeslots in the Discord’s #schedule channel

Please inform players of general session structure during planning stages

Players can also form groups and tag a GM in #down-to-play

Sesh bot is made available for keeping track of planning info

Discord meetings assumed to be audio-only (but use video if you like)

VTTs optional
