How do I purchase a student account?

There are two ways to purchase a Tk20 by Watermark  student account: Through the Tk20 by Watermark  website: Fresnostate.TK20.com or through the Kennel Bookstore.

  1. KSOEHD Tk20 by Watermark  website purchase: (use google chrome or firefox) locate and click on the “Click here to register your student account” link. This will take you to a payment screen where you can purchase your account with a credit card, money order, or cashier’s check (processed by VeriSign). The cost to purchase through the Tk20 by Watermark  website is $110.00. You will need your Fresno State email address and Student ID Number to complete the purchase. After successfully completing your purchase, you will receive an email verifying that your account will be activated within 2-3 business days.

  1. Kennel Bookstore purchase: Assigned to your IPOP or 155A or 178 course with in the bookstore you will find the “Tk20 by Watermark  Student Access Kit”. The cost to purchase through the bookstore is $121.00. The student access kit will provide instructions for how to activate your account online from the KSOEHD Tk20 by Watermark  website.  You will need your Fresno State email address and Student ID Number to complete the activation. After successfully registering your purchase, you will receive an email verifying that your account will be activated within 2-3 business days.


How do I log into Tk20 by Watermark?


I purchased/registered for my Tk20 by Watermark account online and I have not received my username/password. What do I do?

Normally, it takes 2-3 business days to receive your activation information. Please ensure the email sent to you did not go to your junk mail folder. Activations can be delayed if your Fresno State ID#, Fresno State email address or credit card information are entered incorrectly. If you have not received your activation email after 4 days, please contact your Tk20 Unit Administrator at tk20support@mail.fresnostate.edu.


I need a refund, what do I do?

Tk20 by Watermark will offer refunds for student subscriptions as per the following policy: For accounts completely unused within 30 days of purchase: Full refund. For accounts unused between 31 days and 6 months of purchase: 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after six months of purchase under any condition.

If you purchased Tk20 by Watermark from your campus bookstore, please check the bookstore’s refund policy. Tk20 by Watermark will not be able to refund purchases made through your campus bookstore. If you feel that you are eligible for a refund, please contact your Tk20 by Watermark Unit Administrator and discuss the situation with them. They can contact Tk20 by Watermark directly and initiate the refund process.


I have already logged into Tk20 by Watermark but I forgot my password.


How to complete a Time Log:

Step 1: Log in to fresnostate.tk20.edu

Step 2: Click on Home > Time Log

Step 3: Click Create a new activity

Step 4:  Select IPOa, IPOPb, or IPOPc ect. from the Time Log drop down and Complete

        

Step 5: Click the approximate start and end time and enter your mentor teachers email as the reviewer

Step 6: Select the Time Log you would like submit for approval once a week  and click Submit for approval

Step 8: Check the Status is Pending Approval

How do I complete the Disposition Survey?

Step 1:  Login to Tk20 by Watermark at  Fresnostate.tk20.com

Step 2:  Click Field Experience (left hand toolbar)

Step 3:  Click your Field Binder

Step 4: Click Pre Disposition Survey

Step 5:  Click Select


Step 6: Complete the Survey

Step 7:  Click SAVE !


How do I complete the Mandated Reporter Training Survey?

Step 1: Login to Tk20 by Watermark at  Fresnostate.Tk20 by Watermark.com

Step 2: Click Field Experience (left hand toolbar)

Step 3: Click your Fieldwork Binder

Step 4: Click Mandated Reporter

Step 5:  Scroll to the bottom of the page, Click the link Link to training: http://educators.mandatedreporterca.com/


Step 6: Complete the training

Step 7: Click “select” to upload your certificate

Step 8:  Click SAVE !


My Coach just completed an Observation; Now What? How review an observation

How to View your Coach’s observation

Step 1: Login to Tk20 by Watermark

Step 2: Click Field Experience (left hand toolbar)

Step 3: Click your Field Experience Binder

Step 4: Click the “Assessment” tab

Step 5: Click on the observation completed by your Coach (observation 1, observation 2, and so on)


Step 6 :  A popup window will appear and you will be able to view your Coach’s Observation

Step 7:  Scroll over to see what your Coach has selected


How to upload a video into Tk20 by Watermark

 

Step 1. Click the Tab where you will need to upload your video

Step 2. Look for the Attachment Labeled “Video”

Step 3. Click “Select”

Step 4.Click “Select File”

Step 6. The File will begin to upload

Step 7. Make sure the file upload reads “UPLOAD SUCCESS” and Click”ADD”

 


Using Handbrake

Once you have the software you will drag your video file onto the “Handbrake” icon. The software will open and you will see the screen below:

 

 

 

 

 


In the screenshot below, the red circled area is the known as the “Destination” or the location where you will save the file. In this instance, the file will be saved on to the desktop. From this screen, select the “Video” tab, circled in purple.

 

 

After selecting the “Video” tab, you will be directed to this screen. You will then enter a desired “Quality”. We recommend choosing “iPod, iPhone, or iPad” in Presets>Legacy (circled in red). This will ensure it is compressed to the smallest size possible. Make sure to select H.264 for the video codec. Click on the “Start Encode” button (circled in purple). The file will be saved on your desktop with the title listed on the “Destination” field (underlined in red).

 

 

If you saved to your desktop, the completed file will appear like this:

NOTE: Remember to make sure the file is under 500mb. We recommend the file is between 100- 300mb to ensure a successful upload.

  1. Install Video-Compression App

Video Compressor

Open the App Store on your iPad and download a video-compression program, such as Video Compressor.

  1. Choose the output video quality from the settings menu after choosing a file.
  2. Select a video from your iPad library by tapping the “Add” button and browsing your video albums.
  3. Tap “Settings” and choose a compression level, such as “720p,” “VGA Quality” or “Low Quality.”
  4. The more you compress the video, the more detail you remove from the file, resulting in a lower quality.
  5. After selecting your settings, tap “Compress.” The process can take several minutes to an hour, depending on the file size and compression level.

How to upload a document into Tk20 by Watermark

Step 1: Log into Tk20 by Watermark

Step 2: Click on your binder or portfolio

Step 3: Open the tab where you would like to upload your document

Step 4: Click the “Select” button next to the item you would like to upload

Step 5: Title the upload

Step 6:  Click Select File

Step 7:  Select the File

Step 9: Click the Add button


How to Complete a Clinical Practice Observation Form

Step 1: Log into Tk20 by Watermark

Step 2: Click on your binder

Step 3: Open the Clinical Practices Observation Tab

Step 4: Rename this form using the observation 1, 2, 3, etc. and include the date (i.e. 1st observation completed by your Clinical Coach should be titled "Observation 1; Date 00/00/0000"; see example below)

Step 5: Upload a copy of your lesson plan.  The lesson plan template is provided but not required.

        

Step 6: Complete the Observation Digital Signature. This is your digital signature acknowledging you read and understand the observation.

Step 7: Acknowledge your agreement of the observation

*If the Teacher Candidate DOES NOT acknowledge and agree to the observation, it is the Teacher Candidate's responsibility to contact their Clinical Coach to discuss the observation.

Step 8: Upload your Observation Reflection. Click on the Template Link provided or use the provided by your coach.

Step 9:  Answer the questions related to your NEXT observation.

 


How to Complete a Clinical Practice Application

Create an Application

  1. Go to your Applications tab and click on the Create New Application button.
  2. Select the Clinical Practice Application from the dropdown menu and click on the green Next button.
  3. Complete the application as directed. Any fields with an asterisk (*) must be filled in before you submit.
  4. Once you have started an application, you have 3 options:
  1. Note: If you do NOT see the name of the application you need to complete, you may be attempting to complete an application AFTER its due date has passed. Contact your institution’s Tk20 by Watermark  administrator for assistance.

Return to a Saved Application

  1. Click on the Applications tab to display a list of all application forms you have created.
  2. Select the name of the application you wish to edit.
  3. When finished editing, click on Save or Submit.

Note: If an application has a picture of a lock by it, the application has already been submitted and must be recalled or re-opened for editing by an administrator.


How to Create an Clinical Practice Admissions Account (I do NOT have a Tk20 by Watermark  account)

Step 1: Go to Frenostate.tk20.com

Step 2: If needed, expand the Admissions accordion. In the bottom of the box, click on the link: Click here to create your account.

Step 3: Complete any fields marked by an asterisk (*) and fill in the CAPTCHA word as directed.

Step 4: When you are finished, click on Create My Account. Your username and password will be provided on the login page, and you can use these credentials to log in to your new Tk20 by Watermark  account.


Create an Application Clinical Practice Admission (do not have a Tk20 by Watermark  Account)

Log in using your Tk20 admissions account username and password. Navigate to the Applications tab in the side menu.Side Menu Navigation for Admissions Applications

  1. Click on .
  2. Select the appropriate application from the drop down menu and click on the green Next button.
  3. Complete the application as directed. Any fields with an asterisk (*) must be filled in before you submit.
  4. If you are required to attache a file, click on the Select Files button to search for file(s) on your computer. You can review a file clicking on the “X” next to that file.
  5. Once you have started an application, you have 3 options:
  1. Note: If you do NOT see the name of the application you need to complete, you may be attempting to complete an application AFTER its due date has passed or the application may not be activated yet. Contact your institution’s Tk20 by Watermark  administrator for assistance.

Return to a Saved Application

  1. Click on the Applications tab to display a list of all application forms you have created.

  4. When finished editing, click on Save or Submit.

Note: If an application has a picture of a lock by it, the application has already been submitted and must be recalled or re-opened for editing by an administrator.

Recall a Submitted Application

If you need to make a change to a submitted application, you can recall it until it enters the review stage and is “locked” by an administrator.

To recall an unlocked application, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Applications tab to display a list of all of the application forms you have created.
  2. Application List

  4. Click the blue name of the application you wish to recall.
  5. Click the Recall button in the top right-hand corner of the page.

  8. Make the needed changes and click on Save or Create.

Note: If you are unable to recall your application, you can contact your institution’s administrator help re-opening your application for editing.

Reviewed Admissions Applications

Once your admission application has been reviewed, an automatic notification will be sent to the email address you provided when creating your account.


SVP video will not play, Tk20 by Watermark  wants me to update flash ?

(Chrome and Firefox)

Step 1: For Google Chrome Users

Step 2: Right Click the  "i" button to the left of the URL

Step 5: Click on the blue reload button to apply the new settings

How to an Internship Application

Create an Application

  1. Go to your Applications tab and click on the Create New Application button.
  2. Select the Internship Application from the dropdown menu and click on the green Next button.
  3. Complete the application as directed. Any fields with an asterisk (*) must be filled in before you submit.
  4. Once you have started an application, you have 3 options:

Return to a Saved Application

How do I upload a Lesson Plan?

Step 1: Log into Tk20 by Watermark

Step 2: Click on your binder

Step 3: Click  the Lesson Plan/Observation Reflection/ Signature Sheet Tab

        Step 4: Click on select (LRS 1 for observation 1,    LRS 2 for observation  2 …….)

Step 5: Rename this form using the observation 1, 2, 3, etc. and include the date (i.e. 1st observation completed by your Clinical Coach should be titled "Observation 1; Date 00/00/0000"; see example below)
