Early Years Summer Camp

The Early Years Summer Camp is a great opportunity for young children to engage in a variety of activities and develop important skills across different learning areas. The 2-week program which runs about 2 hours daily is designed for children age 3-5 years old. It is a fun and playful program that allows them to explore different opportunities to develop their social, communication, and self-management skills by working with others and learning how to express themselves effectively. They will also strengthen their critical thinking and research skills by engaging in science experiments and exploring different creative projects.

These activities include story-telling, games, music and movement, arts and crafts, science experiments, and snack art. Additionally, the camp will foster a love for learning and exploration through fun and engaging activities.

Participants must bring their own apron, extra set of clothes, and snacks.

Fun Science Experiment Club

Young Environmentalists

Young Environmentalist Club is designed to ignite curiosity, foster a love for science, and inspire environmental stewardship among young minds. The two-week program will have a series of engaging activities, hands-on experiments that will help the environment, and eco-adventures as we explore the wonders of nature and tackle pressing environmental challenges together.

Activities will include:

  • *journaling: group discussions, reflection sessions, and community engagement activities
  • 1-2 sessions of hands-on experiments about environmental safeguards and prevention

Suzuki Violin Twinklers

The Suzuki Violin Twinklers Club is a program designed for students in Grades 1 through 5 to develop violin skills using the Suzuki Method. This method emphasizes aural learning and repertoire development, fostering a love of music in young beginners.  Participation in the club requires students to provide their own age- and size-appropriate instrument.

College Bound: Navigating International University Applications

This week-long workshop helps high school students prepare for applying to universities abroad. Dance Club

Groove and Drills is a dance class that focuses on the foundations of dance from beginner to intermediate level. This class includes footwork, coordination and musicality. It also teaches kids how to move, listen and understand the balance between learning and having fun.

Volleyball

Beginner Category:  for students who are first timers and without formal training. The training program here is about the fundamental skills in volleyball. The main focus is to help children love and enjoy the sport. 2 on 2 volleyball tournament is expected in the final session.

Intermediate-Advance Category: for students who are not first timers and have been playing volleyball in school or have been participating in tournaments. Students here already have a good foundation of the basic skills in volleyball. The training program here focuses on team skills and advanced techniques. Strength and conditioning training will also be applied. A tune-up match is expected in the final session.

Requirements:

1. Camp waiver with signature (day 1 of camp)

4. Sports eyeglasses (goggles type) or contact lenses for students who have eye conditions

Basketball

For the Summer Basketball Camp, an intensive training of 2 hours per day for Pre Novice Category covering 6-12 years old and Aspiring Ballers covering 13-19 years old. Fundamental skills in ball handling including passing, shooting, and dribbling will be emphasized in each category. Transition, defense and offense strategies, pick and roll offensive techniques will be taught in the Aspiring Baller category.

Requirements:

1. Duly signed waiver to be submitted on the first day of camp.

2. Comfortable practice jerseys and basketball shoes.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian jiujiu-jitsu is a self-defence martial art and combat sport based on grappling, ground fighting, and submission holds. BJJ focuses on taking one's opponent down to the ground, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds. Good for beginners to  intermediate level students

Calling all young explorers!

MyCode's Worldbuilding in Minecraft Level 1: Basic Minecraft Coding with MakeCode

In this course, students will be introduced to the basics of programming using Minecraft, a sandbox and open world game, and MakeCode, a visual block-based programming platform. Through Minecraft and MakeCode, students will learn the basics of programming and automated worldbuilding while interacting with programs inside their Minecraft worlds.
