WHAT TO BRING

A NOTE ON THE WEATHER

This course takes place year-round in a large on campus tent. The tent offers basic shelter but is not fully climate controlled. In winter, the space is heated to about 35–40°F; dress in warm layers, thick socks, and bring toe warmers and a thermos for hot drinks. We’ll take breaks as needed to warm up. In summer, expect heat and some direct sun. Check the local weather forecast before you come and pack accordingly.

Below is a general overview of what we will cover each day. However, this schedule is subject to change based on weather, instructor availability, project goals etc. Even if the daily schedule shifts, we will still cover all learning objectives by the end of the course.
