Questions/Comments/Concerns?

Is the budget only off of fundraising or is the DOE giving any funds? Yes and No DOE doesn’t give anything.

Ideas for cost savings from parent in attendance

Budget agreed on YES

Valentine Day decor suggestions.  Buy some and have kids make some if time presents during the school day.

Title 1 chair person elected - Malaya - floor voted, all were in favor - quorum met

VP and/or Co VP vacancies filled - Tahira and Faith nominated themselves - floor voted, all were in favor - quorum met

Calendar using the SBO to change the DOE set calendar.  Helpful for the monthly calendar to be on Dojo for the parents.

Parent suggested Loom knitting instead of Crochet Club - might be easier

Donations and getting the bigger community involved

No Standing sign in front of the school

PTA meetings via zoom for parents who can’t be here to join - Mrs. Wang will confirm with the district if we can have a hybrid meeting.
