Anger House Worksheet

Your ‘Anger House’ is an illustrative representation of all that you have learned about your anger. It is both a self-reflection exercise and a reminder for the future.

Draw the following components of the house and fill them with the relevant details as directed.

  1. Your anger house has four rooms:
  1. The roof of your house represents the support you can rely on. Write down who or what can help you keep your anger in check.
  2. The chimney of the house represents your anger warning signs.
  3. The door of the house represents effective and practical coping strategies that you know you can rely on to manage your anger.
  4. Apart from this basic outline, you can add as many features inside or around the house that you feel can visually represent your understanding of your anger behaviour.
