Hello All!

We had a beautiful time at our annual Trike-a-thon! The weather was gorgeous  and the children had fun! Thank you parents for coming out and supporting our school! Many of you have began turning in your pledges, I want to thank you on behave of Trinity Christian Preschool for your donations. They will directly impact your student and future students to come. Last year you all raised over $1,000.00 towards outdoor storage and equipment!  This year our goal is to raise another $1,000.00 to upgrade classroom safety features.

You still have time to turn your pledges in, every dollar counts!

April’s theme is “God is Growing in Us”. Have you seen evidence of God growing in your child? Share with us a time when you have seen God at work in your student. I bet the teachers also have a story to share with you as well.

Hi Families!

This upcoming week we will be discussing one of our topics this month, gardening! They will be able to vote on their favorite vegetable and fruit for our math lesson. Also excited to teach the students how plants and flowers grow during our craft and science activities as well! Hope you all have a blessed week.

This upcoming week we have some interesting things planned. We have been talking about gardens and the different things you find in the garden. Last week we "planted" bean seeds. We will continue to observe them to see what happened throughout the different days. To also go along with the garden theme we will be talking about worms. I have different activities planned throughout the week to explore worms and also the letter Ww. I also plan to introduce the letter Xx as well.  Four our number we are still focusing on 15. See you all this week.

April theme is God's growing in us. April Bible memory verse is: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power" Ephesians 6:10. Our Bible story will be about the Holy Spirit. This week's theme will be about bugs/insects.

Continue reading groups. Continue blend ladders and reading one vowel words. One vowel rule: when there is one vowel in a word, it usually says its short sound. Review long sounds of vowels. Review two vowel rule: when there are two vowels in a word, the first vowel says its long sound and the second vowel is silent. Review letters and sounds. Read with good expression. If a sentence ends with a period, your voice should go down a little at the end.  If a sentence ends with a question, your voice should go up a little at the end.

Review 1-20. Count up to 100. Begin learning combinations: 1 + 1 = 2, 2 +1 = 3, 3 + 1 = 4.

Language enrichment on tame/wild.  Read "What Happened to Itchy" from Growing Up With Amber Lamb.

2 times a week we will stretch and exercise.
