It was dark that night and my friend and I stayed up late. I was at my friend’s house, her name was Elena and we were both 10 years old. We had cheesy pizza  for dinner and I was feeling nervous because it was my first time sleeping over at a friend's place, away from my family but this would be a night I would never forget.

The day began quietly and all was still but something felt different, as if I was in a different room I had fallen asleep in. Then I woke up. It was just a dream. I told Elena my dream and she said she had a similar dream to the one I had.  Suddenly the sky was filled with dark grey clouds and the room was thrown into darkness.

Elena looked out of her bedroom window, she could see the neighbour mowing the lawn but something was beside her neighbour. She didn’t know what it was, all she could see was a mask. It looked like a Scream mask.

 Then I realised it was scream, then scream looked at us we screamed we ran out of the room to tell her parents but they didn’t believe us so we took them up to the room and told them to look out the window and scream was gone but the parents decided to go to the neighbour and asked him if he had any children dressed up as scream and he said no the neighbours name was Hemi.

Hemi was tall and skinny, his voice was quiet but there was something strange about Hemi he was pale and he had long hair down to his hips then Elena's parents went inside but Elena and I stayed outside then Hemi asked me and Elena if we saw scream next to him and we said yes, then Hemi went even more pale Hemi whispered to us help me call for help then Elena laughed because she thought it was a joke but it wasn’t Hemi said why are you laughing Elena said because you're joking Hemi said i'm not joking please call 111 then we ran inside and said to Elena’s parents Hemi asked us to call 111 and that he’s in danger Elena's parents laughed they didn’t believe us, Elena's parents said their cousins are coming over from the city.

The city was a long way from here but we didn’t mind waiting. Then we were standing at the top of the roof then all of a sudden Elena falls of I jump down to help her then she’s standing up like she never fell down I asked her if she’s “ok” and she says “what do you mean” then I tell her that she just fell of the roof Elena looked at me as if she doesnt know what happened, then suddenly Elenas cousins arrived in a bus, Elenas dog Rover began barking.

Wah! Wah! Wah! The horn of the bus blasted as Elena’s parents rushed out of the door and out onto the street. Rover jumped in excitement as he saw his favorite people. Elena rushed to her cousins. As I looked at Hemis house I saw Scream holding a knife holding it up to Hemi. I was going to tell Elena but as I turned around to tell her she was gone, so was the bus and so was the dog, I found myself staring face to face with Scream and blood was dripping down from his knife.
