1. Cut a small strip off to set aside for handle

2. Fold the paper in half.

3. Draw a horizontal line and cut slits up to the line.

4. Unfold the paper and decorate the bottom and top edge.

5. Form the lantern by making a tube shape and stapling the two ends together.

6. Glue or staple the handle.
