OLD BUSINESS:

Property upkeep: Library lights – these are fixed.

Parking lot:  This has been completed.

Ice melt for front steps: The directors are looking at the prices to get what is needed, and Rick said he will look some up as well.

NEW BUSINESS:

Budget: Susan presented the proposed budget for review and changes. Changes from last year were an increase of the MidYork grants based on what was received this year and a raise to the employees.

NY Hero Act:   The NY Department of Labor has a new act to protect employees against exposure and disease during an airborne infectious disease outbreak.    A motion to accept was presented by Eilleen, a second from Lynn, and all approved. This will be sent to MidYork.

Rubber curb stops for driveway: Rick will talk with Mike P regarding plowing and the new driveway.  Curb stops were discussed as a way to prevent any damage to the new driveway and area.

Juneteenth Holiday:  MidYork needs to know which libraries will be open, so that they can decide if they should be open or not, as this affects book deliveries. It was discussed, and we are currently undecided, but discussed options.  We will discuss at a future date.

Wadas Grant: There is an Edwin Wadas Foundation in the area that provides grants for children's programs. Our directors requested $1000 to purchase snowshoes for adults and children, which can be loaned out to our patrons for use.

Donation letter: It was suggested that we may need to send out a donation letter to patrons in the Spring. This will be revisited.

Light in the back room has been raised to avoid any possible injury.

In person holiday read:  It was discussed to have a holiday read, with someone coming in to read to the children. There will be no food, and masks will be required.

Sabbatical:  Eilleen has requested a sabbatical from the board, which was accepted.
