AD’s Upload Rosters Help

Teams must share their Team Rosters to help other AD/Teams to comply with the NVIAC Constitution requirement to provide Rosters before each game. The ADs can upload Rosters they have created – this link to the just-uploaded Roster then appears on the Member’s page under their teams listing.

Creating the Roster to Upload

In preparation for the upload, the AD's will create their Roster(s):

  1. The AD should prepare their Rosters for upload as follows:
  1. Verify the Roster has all pertinent information (From the Procedure Manual: Roster will include Team name, Coach(s) name, Player names (First name, Last initial only), Player jersey numbers, and Player grade level.)
  2. Add the Team logo if needed.
  3. "Save as PDF" to a known file folder
  4. Use the existing name of the file, or name as follows (either spaces or underlines (_) can be used between words of the Schedule name, but it should at least include the Team Code, sport, gender and age:
    For example:
    AFA Girls Volleyball Roster 2025.pdf

Uploading the Roster(s) to NVIAC website

On the Members page, click on the Upload Rosters link:

  1. The Upload Roster Documents page opens. Begin filling out the fields:

  2. If you click the Upload File before you’ve filled in all the fields, you will get a pop-up warning to complete the fields before uploading:


  1. Navigate to your Download Folder and find the Roster you just saved as a PDF, select it and press Open:
  2. Now that the fields are complete, press the Upload File button:
  3. A confirmation page will show a successful upload of the Roster:
     
  4. Click on the link “The file is uploaded to” to open your just-uploaded Roster. The file is now on the NVIAC website, so when you click this link, you’ll see the actual file you just uploaded.
  5. Click on the link “Click this line to go to the Members page…” to open the Members page to your team’s line and confirm your Roster has been uploaded correctly, and is now accessible to anyone who needs to view or download it.
