BOOK STUDY OVERVIEW

Creating the School Family: Bully-Proofing Classrooms Through Emotional Intelligence incorporates everything you need to successfully create and teach 12 classroom structures, integrating social-emotional well-being into your existing curriculum. Join us to systematically create a positive school climate, dramatically increase teaching time, foster academic success, eliminate bullying, and decrease behavioral issues.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Early Childhood, Elementary

DESCRIPTION: This 15-week book study will guide you through implementation of 12 CLASS© correlated strategies to foster the seven skills of discipline in your classroom. Collaborate with others, see examples, and get individual feedback on what your doing in an asynchronous learning environment.

COURSE STRUCTURE: Online Google Classroom

One Chapter per Week (worth 4 points) = 60 points

1 hour for the Chapter Reading

1 hour to respond to the guided conversation stimulus

1 hour to read others’ posts and reply to at least two other participants

1 hour for implementation
