Friends of the Hot Springs City Library

October 7, 2024

Meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm by George.

Present:  Peggy Heinselman, Francis Raynor, George Parsons, Deanne Hazleton, Josh Davis Loretta and Starla Rice acting as secretary were present.  

Starla read the minutes from the September 16, 2024 meeting.  George entertained a motion to approve the minutes.  George moved that the September 16, 2024 minutes be approved.  Peggy seconded that motion.  All members present approved.

Treasurers Report:  Beginning balance was 5203.82 deposits were -0-.  Debits were 75.00, Check # 364 for the popcorn machine.  Balance is 5128.82.   Discussion:  George moved that the treasurer’s report be approved.  Deanne seconded that motion.  All members present approved.  

Old Business: Check from the Town for 15.99 was for a Patron Book Order for the library. Starla asked that George cash it so it can go in the Patron Book Order cash box.

New Business:  Test popcorn machine at the next Friends meeting.

Starla presented -0- for coloring books.

The next meeting will be November 18, 2024.

George entertained a motion that the meeting be adjourned at 3:45 pm.  George moved that the meeting be adjourned.  Josh seconded that motion.  All members present approved.
