Music - Praise Team Volunteer Ministry Role

ROLE TITLE: Praise Team Member           

ROLE CATEGORY: Worship

BRIEF OVERVIEW: This ministry is for those who are gifted musically or vocally and desire to assist in leading worship at the contemporary service.

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Director of Contemporary Worship

LENGTH OF SERVICE: 1 Year (Volunteers can renew annually and their service time starts in January)

PREREQUISITES: Must be proficient in playing their instrument or singing.  Must be able to work on a team.

• Current Background Check required? No
• Active in Saint Paul church community? Preferred

GIFTS / TALENTS HELPFUL FOR THIS ROLE: Musically and/or vocally proficient

TIME FRAME: 

• Practice Time: Practice on their own time
• Rehearsal: Thursday nights from 7-9pm & Sunday morning before the service
• Performance at the service on Sunday morning.  A total of approximately 5 hours per week.

• How will I get the music? We use an app called Planning Center.  The music is uploaded there weeks prior to the service.
• How often will I play? That depends on the need for that particular Sunday.
