Middle School Weekly Update for 9/15/2023.

The events of September 11, 2001 affected many people across our country.  Mrs. Kathy Goff, Middle School Paraprofessional, shared her experiences of living in New York City during 9/11. Eighth grade students were presented with a video recapping the events of the terrorist attacks and then heard Mrs.Goff's first hand account. She shared pictures of a loved one, the firehouse in Maspeth, Queens, and pictures of the memorial.

On Monday, September 11th, students dressed in patriotic colors, or shirts supporting first responders or armed forces in honor of Patriots Day in remembrance of the events of September 11th.  We are proud to see that so many students showed their support.
