EEEI Registration Notes

Additional instructions regarding General Education course for students in the five-year program:

  1. 13 courses (total of 39 units) are required under RGEP
  1. List of RGEP subjects can be found here.
  2. In the Arts and Humanities domain, a minimum of nine (9) units of communication courses in English are required (these can  be any of the ff: Eng 10, Eng 11, Eng 12, Eng 30, CW 10, and Comm 3/Speech 30). Note that Eng 1 can not be credited as GE anymore (Memo No. OVCAA-ECA 18-157).
  3. Math 1 and Math 2 are not credited as GE for EEE students with student numbers older than 2012-XXXXX.
  4. Math 2 and Physics 10 cannot be credited as GE in the 5-year curriculum, but are credited as GE in the 4-year (2018) program.
  5. The College of Science highly discourages students to enrol in both Bio 1 or Geol 1 if the student has finished Nat Sci 2 and vice versa.
  6. Students with student number 2012 and younger are required to take English 10/ Eng 13, Comm 3 (in English)/Speech 30, Fil 40, Kas 1, Philo 1, and STS.
  7. Students may take or enlist in GE courses, whether reconfigured or newly instituted under the Diliman-21 GE Framework, subject to availability of slots. See OVCAA MEMO 20-025 for domain assignment of GE courses under the Diliman-21 GE Framework.
