One Year Post-Doctoral Psychologist Resident Position

Childhood Health Associates of Salem (CHAOS) is accepting applications for its one-year, full-time Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Health & Integrated Care. This Fellowship exceeds the residency requirements for the State of Oregon.

This training opportunity is designed to support fellows in developing and consolidating their clinical skills with a special focus on working in integrated care with a diverse spectrum of patients. Areas of clinical focus include brief intervention, consultation, psychopharmacology, interdisciplinary approaches to patient services, supervision of pre-doctoral students in clinical psychology, crisis work and much more. CHAOS is currently engaged in the development of specialized programming for improved population health, furthered development of trauma-informed screening and specialized care and a variety of other initiatives in which fellows would be involved.

CHAOS is multi-site Five Star Patient Centered Primary Care Home with an engaging and collaborative environment and a collegial, multi-disciplinary staff as well as highly-valued training programs. Fellows work under the direction and supervision of Licensed Psychologists and have solid working relationships with the medical staff which includes psychiatry. Two hours of individual supervision is provided; one hour of group supervision per week is available. Start and end dates are negotiable.

Remuneration includes a $50,000 annual salary, health, PTO, opportunities for continuing education, technology/CME funds; employer paid malpractice insurance.

Completion of all requirements for the doctoral degree from an APA-accredited counseling or clinical psychology program prior to the start date of the fellowship is required. Applicants with a background in integrated care and pediatrics are preferred. Applications will be accepted until March 30, 2018.
