Mission

First, it is to fulfill the great commission Jesus spoke in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father & of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.”

Getting people saved is great! But to teach them to observe all things that Jesus has commanded is where the hard work begins. Observing Christ’s commands, but not doing, and applying them is just like a person that sees himself in the mirror and forgetting how he looks. James 1:22-25 says, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

Discipleship is greatly needed in this day and age. We don’t want someone to become born again and never truly experience who they are in Christ. We need the power of God to be operating in us continually. From our experience, it takes work and time to change a person’s soul. Asking God to change us without spending time with the Holy Spirit is not enough to bring noticeable change. It requires implementing the 4 keys to growth: reading & meditating the word, spending time in worship, praying in tongues, and fasting. Our mission would be to teach & give the opportunity to implement the keys that bring transformation to the whole body, soul, & spirit.

The desired outcome is to see people in unity with the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, we want people to receive the Holy Spirit and spend time with the Holy Spirit. However, building a free community does not come free. So, we have to contend and press into God with more than just words.

Commitment brings change. Anyone that wants to win the race goes into strict training. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9:25, “Everyone who competes in the games exercise self-control. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” He is referring to becoming one with the Holy Spirit—a process that does not occur overnight. Self-control can only come when putting the four keys of spiritual growth into practice. I believe growth requires a lot of effort. I have never seen anyone develop muscles by standing still and talking about it. Training is when one person stops what they are doing and puts effort into changing. We want to teach our community and give them opportunity to put these truths into practice

Regardless of a person’s age, God can use anyone. So, in summary of part one of our mission, it is to train new and old believers to learn how to grow with the Holy Spirit and have a consistent life style of praying, worship, fasting, and reading the word. Our desired outcome would be to bring revelation of the four keys of growth. The word disciple means disciplined one. Making strong disciples will take discipline. One way we can identify if a community has been transformed is by seeing followers of Christ putting what was taught into practice. Our goal would be to make 1 million disciples.

The Second part of our mission is to have a revival in our city. Through revival God will give birth to new churches. There is a sense of urgency to bring about change in our community because only God knows when the last day will be. We want to do everything we can in the meantime. After our city goes through revival, we desire other cities and states to join.

Every revival has a beginning. Usually, new beginnings start with a few people on their knees. Then it grows to a group and from a group to a community. When God’s people remove their busy schedules and commit to seeking his face through prayer, worship, and fasting, a revival will break out. It was never intended for us to bring about revival through preaching first. Jesus went through 40 days of prayer and fasting before he came out with power. He had a revival on the inside first. Once he was walking in power he started to preach. Look at Luke 4:14-15, “Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.” Let’s also take a look at Luke 24:49-53, “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high. And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God.” This last verse in the book of Luke was a continuation of Acts 1:14, “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.” Coincidentally, Luke is the same author of the book of Acts. In summary, we see the group of believers spending time in prayer and worship. If you look at Luke chapter 5, it gives us a hint that they were also fasting. The result of seeking God corporately gave the chance for Peter to preach the gospel and bring in the harvest.

When the believers in the upper room changed, the change on the inside gave room for the Spirit to bring an outward manifestation of conviction through them to the people in that city. Our city needs that same conviction, not another great idea. People don’t change if they don’t seek after The Spirit. Where the Holy Spirit is, there is power; power to bring transformation.

In Luke chapter 15 is the story of the prodigal son. His dad was happy to have him back so he killed a fatted calf for him, but his brother said, “many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandments at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, which I might make merry with my friends. “His dad said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.” If you look at the son that was serving his father and never transgressed was not in close relationship with his father. His father said, “All that I have is yours” but the son that was working all his life for his dad was not living in the fullness of what his father had. All he needed was to spend time with his father to get to know how much he really had. Lesson learned. If we want revival kind of sons and daughters we need to be spending time with Father in heaven.

The Second part of our mission summary is to establish a strong foundation in our city with prayer, fasting, and worshiping in our community which will take us into revival. This part of our mission goal is to have 1 million people saved in Christ who are also engaged in a close relationship with their Father.

The Third part of our mission is to put together a School for Deliverance & Healing. It’s been a long passion of mine to raise up leaders to walk as Jesus walked. If all we saw or learned was the word of God, and have no demonstration of his power, we as a body of Christ will not be effective. We are living in a time and season wear people will not be convinced unless they see the power of God buy signs and wonders. Of Course we should not be seeking signs and wonders but we should be seeking God first and foremost so dose things will happen. That's why we a strong passion to Getting the School of Healed & Delivered going.

We plan to raise up powerful man and woman that can walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, to take back ground from darkness. It has been hard for me to watch people go day in and day out of churches, and not get delivered or healed from their infirmities and oppression’s from the Devil. When Jesus was on earth he delivered and healed the oppressed. The sick were healed on a normal bases. Today in most churches believe in deliverance and healing, but don’t have the power to do them. Something is very wrong with that. Having knowledge but not the power to perform them.

We have a list of teachings regarding the subjects of deliverance and healing. The classes will include homework, quizzes, tests & most importunity hands on opportunities. These classes are four hours long and are geared to prepare believers for spiritual warfare. We believe the walk of power is needed more than ever before.

The third part of our mission summary is to prep and get ready to launch the school in near future. We will have different teachers that will touch on different subjects to this walking of power and faith in The Holy Spirit. The goal is to impart and pass on to the next generation what God has given us. So they can be empowered and ready to step out and do what God has called them to do.
