The PA Best Buddies club is looking for new members to join our team! This is a great, supportive, club that does lots of fun activities such as fundraising and assisting with running events to raise money for our annual walk and leadership conferences. This is a great opportunity to expand your horizons, and realize not everybody has the save advantages as others; but we all work together to make the best of it and enjoy ourselves. Yearbook - Find out what Yearbook is all about 9/18, Wednesday after school in room 1027.  All grades are welcome. Any questions before 9/18? Just ask Ms. Quesnell (MultiMedia Place in Library) or Mrs. Thompson (Rm. 1027).

Community Service Opportunities:

Jerry, our fantastic custodian needs your help.  After C lunch, all the cafeteria chairs need to be stacked back onto the tables.  Do you have an open campus or academic lab?  Help Jerry get the cafeteria chairs stacked.  You will receive community service hours and build upper body strength.  If interested, see Jerry at the end of C lunch.

 

Fundraisers:   

Pembroke Academy's Future Business Leaders are selling 8-1/2" potted Mums for $8.00 each. We are taking orders now through September 25th. Mums will be available for pickup at the Pembroke Academy Greenhouse, Friday September 27th from 2:30 - 4:00 PM and Saturday September 28th from 9-11am. Payment can be made via check , cash or debit/credit card at the time of pick-up.

Boy’s Varsity Soccer  played against Kennett and won with score 3 - 0.  The "Life of a Spartan" Pure Performance player was Harrison Army.  With 2 goals and one assist Harrison deserves recognition in helping secure our victory over Kennett. Next game is 9/17 at Oyster River.

Girl’s Varsity Soccer  played against Kennett and won with score of 3 - 1.  The "Life of a Spartan" Pure Performance player was Britney Hill. She is both a rock solid defender and an offensive playmaker for our team. She helped secure our 5th victory on the season yesterday on the road. She also has one goal on the season Next game is 9/17 at home against Conval.

PSAT- 2019 for Juniors

When? Wednesday October 16, 2019

Where? PA Gym

Time- 7:30 am to 11:30 am, * lunch accommodations will be made for students who have A lunch.

How- Sign up in Blanchard House with Mrs. Aube beginning Tuesday, September 10,

through Tuesday September 17.

When you sign up, you will receive a student bulletin with practice test.

What to Bring- The day of the test you should have at least 2, #2 pencils and a scientific

calculator and a snack.

Attention students who are interested in being a NH Scholar, you may pick up forms in Blanchard House and fill them out and return them to Mrs Aube in Blanchard House.
