Resources for Families, Parents, and Caregivers
KPDSB is committed to helping parents and guardians find the resources they need to deal with unfamiliar situations and times of crisis. Here you will find a comprehensive list of webinars, videos/recordings, brochures, tip sheets, and external websites and programs designed to inform and aid families dealing with various addictions and/or mental health issues. If you have any questions about the following resources, please contact your school’s administration.
In collaboration with Hannah Beach, KPDSB has a new series of resources for parents and caregivers, focusing on topics affecting today’s children to help parents and caregivers bridge the gap of understanding between them. Hannah’s approach breaks down these difficult topics and gives adults the tools to talk to their kids in an easily digestible way that ensures children feel loved, cared for, and genuinely understood. KPDSB is honoured to have this partnership with Hannah Beach and to make her expertise accessible to families in all our communities.
