Re-Assessment Procedures for Summative Category Grades (75%)

Art

The Art Department utilizes a standards-based-style grade book that reviews a student’s body of evidence for each of five skills. Teachers check for growth on an on-going basis, and the five summative grades in the categories change as the semester progresses based on student growth. Students, with the help of teachers, monitor their summative grades and plan with their teacher to show evidence where needed.
