No P/12272 L/Cpl, Daniels A, MFP and P/5860 L/Cpl, Wilson J, MFP were both compulsory transferred to the Labour Corps for inefficiency.

     The soldier who was accidentally shot and died was Private John McDonald, No. S/31024, Army Service Corps.   25/5/1916 he enlisted in the ASC, occupation Butcher, age 25.8 years, address: wife, 74 Cromwell Road, Glasgow, they had one child.   He is buried in Boulogne Eastern Cemetery in plot VII. I,132.   His death is recorded on casualty list C.1419, dated 23/12/1917 and casualty list C.1452 dated 24/1/1918.   Inscription on gravestone “Missed”.   He was awarded the Victory & War Medals.
