Dealing with Late Comers / Review Vocabulary

Play the Blooket game

  • This game recycles all the vocabulary cumulatively studied in the course thus far, so it’s a way to keep the vocabulary from previous lessons from being forgotten
  • Because students can join the game at any point, it’s a non-disruptive way to deal with students trickling in late

10 min

Review Vocabulary from Previous Lesson

Board Race

  • In contrast to the Blooket game, this game focuses only on the vocabulary from yesterday’s lesson.  Reviewing the content of the previous lesson aids acquisition into long term memory
