Join the Kids’ Corner Board of Directors
Every day after school, Kids’ Corner is a place where children feel safe, inspired, and free to explore new interests. We serve hundreds of families in Winchester and nearby towns, providing exceptional out-of-school programs that nurture compassion, confidence, and curiosity.
Now, we’re looking for passionate community members to join our Board of Directors and help us continue this important work.

• No mandatory donation—your time, expertise, and enthusiasm are what we value most.

• Expand your personal and professional network within Winchester.
• Build leadership and strategic thinking skills in a collaborative setting.
• Two-year board terms, with the option for re-election.
• Meetings and events are designed to fit a working parent’s schedule.
As a Board Member, you’ll help guide Kids’ Corner’s mission, support our staff, and strengthen our programs. You’ll:
1. Lead & Govern – Shape the vision, set goals, and ensure we’re meeting community needs.
2. Champion & Connect – Represent Kids’ Corner in Winchester and beyond, building awareness and relationships.
3. Support & Fundraise – Attend events, open doors to new opportunities, and help secure resources.
We welcome people who:
• Have a current or past connection to Kids’ Corner (parent, alumni parent, former student) or want to support youth programs in our community.
• Bring skills in leadership, finance, fundraising, law, HR, marketing, or child development.
• Enjoy working with a collaborative, committed team.
• Are willing to attend board meetings every other month and participate in at least one committee (about 3–4 hours/month).
• Caring & Respect – Listening to our community and supporting families and staff.
• Engagement & Exploration – Encouraging children to try new things and grow in confidence.
• Developmentally Responsive – Meeting children where they are.
• Community Partnership – Being active, engaged members of Winchester.
