A-Level Tech

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on European vehicles.
- Perform advanced engine diagnostics and repairs involving timing systems, fuel injection systems, cooling systems, and charging systems, including both 12V and 48V architectures.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, including control modules, sensors, ignition systems, charging systems, and vehicle network communications.
- Perform complete brake system diagnostics and repairs, including ABS diagnosis, coding, and programming.
- Diagnose, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems, including both R134a and R1234yf refrigeration systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair suspension, braking, engine, and transmission systems.
- Utilize industry-standard diagnostic and shop management software to document findings, create repair orders, and track labor and parts usage.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Stay current with evolving vehicle technologies through ongoing training and development.
- Access to current diagnostic shop equipment and resources - Autologic, Alldata, Identifix, Diagnation, TopDon, iScan, Autel and Snap-on.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Volkswagen, or Volvo.
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience. ASE certifications, manufacturer certifications, or equivalent advanced training preferred.
- Experience with electric vehicles, including Tesla, is highly desirable.
- Factory training or advanced manufacturer certifications are a strong plus.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong diagnostic ability with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Thorough understanding of at least one major European vehicle brand.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Learn
You'll work directly with experienced technicians and gain exposure to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and create digital vehicle inspection reports.
- Complete maintenance and light-to-medium mechanical repairs, including oil services, tire rotations, filter replacements, brake service, and basic diagnostic procedures.
- Assist A-Level Technicians with advanced repairs and diagnostic work.
- Draft vehicle reports and document repair findings accurately.
- Help communicate repair recommendations and diagnostic findings to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Properly handle tools, equipment, and vehicle components.
- Follow shop procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Continuously learn and develop your technical knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Interest in automotive repair and a desire to pursue a career as an automotive technician.
- Strong attention to detail and patience when performing repairs and diagnostics.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions, technical documentation, training materials, and repair procedures.
