Crime Prevention

The Police Non-Emergency Number 101 is the number to call when you want to contact your local police when it's less urgent than a 999 call.

Neighbourhood Watch - Eastbourne has a very active Neighbourhood Watch programme with a high density of schemes per household. Our Watch is the national Neighbourhood Watch site which provides more information on how you can participate. http://www.eastbourne.gov.uk/about-the-council/partnerships/community-safety/crime-prevention/

Neighbourhood Panels- are running in most areas of the town and there will be one near to where you live. Attended by a representative from the Neighbourhood Policing team but comprised and chaired by local residents, these are the perfect forum for you to raise crime and safety issues that matter to you. http://www.eastbourne.gov.uk/about-the-council/partnerships/community-safety/crime-prevention/

Protect Your Bike From Theft- by joining the UK’s national, Police approved, bicycle marking & registration scheme. Registration is FREE. https://www.bikeregister.com/
