About Black Harvard Alumni United

BHAU is a group of Harvard alums who were riveted into action by circumstances that required an immediate and unified response from the global community of Black Harvard alumni and allies. We launched a survey that led to a number of different initiatives.

We remember the aspirations and hope that filled our hearts on the day that our Forever Sister President, Dr. Claudine Gay, was inaugurated as the 30th president of Harvard University.  We stand in support of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, at Harvard and well beyond the gates of the Yard.  We hold dear the value of equitable empowerment and the benefits it yields for everyone involved.

We are grateful for others on this journey.  We are honored to stand alongside organizations such as HBAS, the Coalition for a Diverse Harvard, BAHEI, H4A and others. We applaud the many efforts that we have been seeing at Princeton, Dartmouth, and other schools.

Here are some of the initiatives, from BHAU and aligned organizations, that you can support.
