Have a Child Who Rides the Bus? |
Download Here Comes the Bus to receive notifications about the location of your child’s bus. Did you know? Half of the buses with the longest routes have Wi-Fi, allowing students to work while traveling. View the list of Wi-Fi-equipped buses by school. |

School Menus |
View school menus. Menus are also available on the CCS website and mobile app. All students receive free meals in Columbus County Schools. |
Supply Lists |
There are no required school supply lists. Schools will provide most needed supplies. Families may wish to purchase pencils, notebooks, or other supplies their child prefers to use. |
Attendance Policy |
Read the CCS attendance policy carefully. Important: No more than five school days per semester will be excused based on parent notes. Future absences for personal illness, injury, or medical/dental appointments will require a healthcare practitioner’s statement to be excused. |

HEALTH, ATHLETICS & CELL PHONES |
School Health Information |
Kindergarten students, seventh graders, and seniors: Kindergarten students must have a completed health assessment and age-appropriate immunizations. Incoming seventh graders must have a Tdap booster and first meningococcal immunization. Incoming seniors must have a second meningococcal immunization. Documentation must be received by the 30th school day, or the student will be excluded until the required immunization is received, in accordance with GS 130A-155. Athletics |
High school sports schedules are available on the CCS App, school websites, and MaxPreps. Middle school schedules will be posted soon. |
Cell Phone Policy |
