Fitness Center Rules and Regulations

- All membership dues must be prepaid. ___
- Membership is not transferable to other persons. ___
- Only fitness center card holders are allowed entry into the fitness room. ___
- Children between the ages of 13 and 18 may use the fitness center outside of school hours provided they enter with a paying member or a school employee who has agreed to provide supervision for them. ___
- No children under the age of 13 are allowed in the fitness center but may use the gymnasium with your supervision. ___
- It is your responsibility to supervise any children that accompany you to the fitness center and the gymnasium and you are responsible for ensuring that they remain in the gymnasium area. ___
- The school is not responsible for any lost or stolen property when using the fitness center, or the gymnasium. NO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES UNATTENDED OR UNSECURED WHEN USING THE FITNESS CENTER. ___
- The locker rooms will be left clean and orderly when you leave them. ___
- Your valid membership card must be with you at all times when you are using the fitness center. ___
- Anyone using the fitness center without checking in properly or allowing access to non-members of the facility will have their membership suspended and their membership fee forfeited. ___
- The Fitness Center may only be used during the established hours of operation. ___
- You must be post-high school-aged and 18 years or older to join. No children under the age of 13 are allowed in the Fitness Center. ___
- If you have a medical condition inhibiting exercise, you will take the necessary precautions and assume any and all risks. ___
- Exercise is voluntarily performed at your own risk. ___
- If you should incur an injury at the Fitness Center, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to seek appropriate care and that the school will not be held liable. ___
- If any children are brought to the gymnasium under your supervision and incur an injury, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to seek appropriate care and the school will not be held liable. ___
- No food may be taken into the fitness center. Only beverages with caps, such as water and energy drinks may be taken into the fitness center. ___
- Pants or shorts, socks, shoes and shirts must be worn. ___
- Street shoes must be removed before using any fitness equipment and only tennis shoes should be worn. ___
- If others are waiting to use the equipment, please limit your time on any one piece of equipment to no more than 30 minutes. ___
- All equipment must be returned to its proper place and wiped clean with disinfectant. ___
- The Fitness Center is not responsible for any property lost, stolen, or damaged while you are using the facility. ___
- You promise to use the equipment as it is intended and instructed. If you misuse the equipment and damage it, you will be responsible for the cost to repair. _
- If a piece of equipment malfunctions, you will put an available “out of order” sign on it and will not attempt to repair it yourself. ___
- You must sign the waiver form (Informed Consent and Release of Liability) before you are eligible to become a member of the Fitness Center. ___
- You agree to return your membership access card after your membership has expired. The cost to replace a lost or damaged access card is $5.00. You, also, acknowledge that you will not share your membership card with any other person at any other time. ___
- You acknowledge that your membership may be canceled and no refunds will be issued as a penalty for breaking the rules. ___
