QB Club Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, August 14, 2018, 7pm at JYMS Cafeteria

Present: M. Mueller, J. Turkington, J. Liegel, R. Zittlow, C. Blum, A. Hanusa, K. Hanusa, K. Langkamp

1. Fundraiser Recap

1. Cards/funds are still being brought in by kids and we can continue to sell.
2. Preliminary numbers put us close to last year’s net total
3. Next year: need a better system for distribution and turn in
4. Will continue to sell - Open House for High school will be set up to sell
   

2. Parents Night 8/31

1. Elizabeth has ordered plenty of beads to hand out

1. We will talk to Krystal about having the cheerleaders help us with that

2. Google form will be sent to kids to gather parent names for announcing
3. Parents will stand in the bleachers rather than line up on the track
   

3. Senior Night 9/7

1. Will do a small flier for Senior Night, Bug Tussel may sponsor the printing cost
2. Senior booklet will be handed out at banquet

1. Kari will message senior parents to see if any of them want to compile this

3. Flowers from Garden of Angels last year, Chris will check on this
4. Jenny (with helpers) will help organize players/parents on field beforehand
5. We will need to confirm timing of the pregrame with Coach closer to game day.
   

4. Volunteer Needs

1. Most sign ups are filling up: need JV and JV2 sideline help and team dinners
   

5. Helmet Signs

1. Jim McCauley cut out 24 new plywood signs for us
2. Allison and family offered to paint them
3. Signs go typically to starting varsity players but are decided by Coach
   

6. Booster Club Presidents Meeting

1. Mark attended a meeting of all sport booster club presidents on Monday
   

7. Other

1. Chris will handle getting the thank you to Devil’s Lake Bistro
2. Signed senior posters were distributed to be dropped off at businesses on the discount card
3. Jen will look into the spirit wear that we have left. We may or may not sell more at games this year.
