Minutes of the Board of Trustees

July 12, 2021

The July meeting of the Board of Trustees was held In Person at the Library.  President Janis Hempel called the meeting to order at 6:05 PM. Also present were: Karen Rosolowski, Art Klein, Jennifer Wilkinson, Mike Morse, and Frank White (treasurer) and Sandy Eck.  (Everyone was present except Bonnie Stockholm and Lori Kubik).

We did pledge to the flag.  After we reviewed the agenda, Mike made a motion to approve it, which was seconded by Sandy, and passed.  Sandy made a motion to approve the June, 2021 minutes, which was seconded by Art and passed.

We reviewed the past month’s expenditures and discussed the Treasurer Report.  Mike made a motion to accept treasure’s report and expenditures and approve them, which was seconded by Art and passed.

Director’s report (attached). Karen noted we added Tales and Tails and 2 in person story hours.  We discussed and looked at the Memorial Shelving/Children’s Roost.  Cupula work is still going.  Discussed Dog Days of Summer event.

Under Old Business,

1. None to discuss that was not covered above.

Under New Business,

1. Children Services Clerk – story hour discussed and plan to move forward.
2. PLS to come and discuss role of trustees, discussed and interested.
3. Personnel Committee – want to be formed – add to next month to discuss jobs, description f duties, etc.

For Public Comments, no comments.  

Mike made a motion to adjourn at 6:52 PM, seconded by Sandy, and passed.  The next meeting will be held on August 9th at 6:00pm in the Library.
