OCTOBER 30, 2021 Campus Notification: COVID-19

The university recently received notification of one individual testing positive for COVID-19.

The individual was on campus on October 29 in the Recreation Center. They may have been potentially infectious with the virus when on campus. The university was notified of the positive test result on October 30.

Contact tracing is being conducted and will continue in these cases. If anyone is identified as a “close contact” they will be contacted directly regarding any next steps.

We strongly encourage all members of the campus community to remain vigilant against COVID-19 by adhering to health and safety precautions designed to mitigate the spread of the virus.
