Empirosaurus Information
Spawn locations, wild info, and taming
- Empirosaurus is a fairly uncommon spawn along the various desert oasises, waterways, and the dunes on Scorched Earth and Ragnarok, along with the Extinction Wastelands. Future support will be added for Valguero’s white cliffs savannah plateau, and The Center’s volcano biome. You may also find them on the volcanic island in Astraeos. Other modded maps may have them, provided they use the same spawn containers
- Empirosaurus will ignore most small creatures, and will target other large carnivores such as rexes, spinosaurs, acro, allosaurus etc. (Not Giga or Carcha) and it will also target players and tames as well
- You must be level 90 to initiate taming
- You need a fire-based projectile weapon (flamethrowers, flame arrows work best) the better the quality, the more effective it’ll be for taming!
- Wait for Empirosaurus to lay down and bask. When basking, aim for its sail and shoot. Do not shoot its body. It has to be the sail!
- Empirosaurus will then rise very very angrily and proceed to attack you. As Empirosaurus attacks, it’ll build up heat. Eventually it will heat up too much and try to cool down (It will hunch over and start huffing and puffing) and that’s when you wanna shoot his sail again with flame arrows. Doing this will induce torpor from the extreme heat exhaustion
- Repeat this process until Empirosaurus knocks out! Empiro will require meat like any other theropod (Mutton, prime etc.) but prefers Extrordinary kibble (Its eggs are also special-tier, useful for making this kibble)
Tamed Information
- Saddle unlocks at level 90 (Saddles can be found in high level loot crates)
- Empirosaurus is a terrestrial carnivore, like Rex and Giga, and will eat meat
- Empirosaurus has several attacks. Left click is a bite attack. Right click is a heavy clawswipe. Looking behind you while left clicking will make Empirosaurus tailswipe anything behind it
Heat Gauge
- Empirosaurus has a heat gauge. Claw swipes will increase heat. Bites will decrease heat. Holding down “H” (Extended hud) will show what percentage the heat gauge is at. As the heat gauge rises, Empirosaurus will unlock certain benefits
- Tier 1 (26%-50%)
- Damage increased by 10% - Tier 2 (51%-85%)
- Damage increased by 15%
- Empirosaurus will now do a double bite attack - Tier 3 (86%-99%)
- Damage increase by 20%
- Empirosaurus will now do a double claw swipe
- Empirosaurus’ body temperature is so hot it immediately cauterizes any bleeding/gnashed debuffs - Tier 4 (100%)
- Empiro enters heat exhaustion
- Empiro cannot sprint, or perform a claw swipe attack
- It will however begin to heal faster as (Lore!!!) its body is rapidly repairing any damage sustained by the extreme heat
Malice Meter & Simmering Malice
- Malice is gained by killing other dinos. The higher the dragweight of the creature, the more malice Empirosaurus earns. Small targets like players or raptors will offer very little to no malice. The largest targets (550 dragweight) such as Rexes will earn 25%
- Once your Malice hits 100%, you can activate the simmering malice ability by roaring
- Once ative, Empirosaurus’ eyes will begin to glow red
- Simmering Malice will lock the heat gauge at whatever tier it is currently at for a limited amount of time, which allows you to spam either attack without worrying of overheating
- It is optimal to wait until you hit tier 3 in your heat gauge so you take advantage of all the benefits that come with it
- As Empirosaurus is in Simmering Malice, occasionally you’ll see targets with a red ring placed on them. Killing these targets will increase the duration of Simmering Malice itself!
Ledumahadi Information
Spawn locations, wild and taming
- Ledumahadi, like Empirosaurus, is a fairly uncommon creature. You can spot them in the badlands and canyon areas of the deserts on maps like Scorched Eath, Ragnarok and the Extinction wastelands. Future support will be added for Valguero’s white cliffs savannah plateau, and The Center’s volcano biome. You may also find them on the volcanic island in Astraeos. Other modded maps may have them, provided they use the same spawn containers
- Ledu is similar to Theri where it will become aggressive if you venture too close!
- Also like Empirosaurus, you need to be level 90 in order to tame it
- Start by attacking Ledu. After some attacks, it will rear up and start blocking all incoming damage
- When Ledu is in its blocking stance, that’s when you want to start to shoot it with projectile based weaponry (Guns, tek guns etc. and electrical based weapons like prods being the most effective) The idea is you want to charge up Ledu’s kinetic energy as fast as you can!
- Ledumahadi will then attempt to thunderclap, and when he rears up to do so, make sure to shoot it! You’ll overload his kinetic energy at this crucial moment, causing his energy to disperse into his body instead of out of his hands. This will deal torpor to him
- Repeat this process until he is KO’ed. Ledu will take standard herbi food (mejoberries, crops) and prefers Extrordinary kibble (Its eggs are also special-tier, useful for making extraordinary kibble!)
Tamed Information
- Saddle unlocks at Level 90 (Saddles can be found in high level loot crates)
- Ledu is a herbivore, and will eat anything most large herbivorous dinos eat
- Ledu has two stances. Quad (Which is defense/utility) and Biped (Offense)
- Left click is a bite which can harvest berries. Right click is a headbash. Looking backwards and left clicking will do a tailswipe
- In this stance Ledu will slowly absorb kinetic energy while being attacked (More on that later!)
- Leftclick will do clawswipe attacks
- Holding rightclick will put Ledu into a blocking stance. Blocking reduces incoming damage at the cost of stamina. While blocking, incoming damage will be converted into kinetic energy
- Blocking an incoming attack as soon as it happens will give you a short time window to counter by clicking left click. Ledu will counter with a triple claw swipe attack! (Requires 30% kinetic energy to perform)
- Kinetic energy can be gained in several different ways!
- Quad stance while being attacked (Slowly)
- Passively gained during electrical storms on Scorched Earth (Have to be where the lightning is coming down for this to work!)
- Electrical based attacks, such as tesla coils and lightning wyvern breath
- Biped stance while blocking (Most effective) 1000 damage = 10% kinetic energy
- Kinetic energy meter will never drop over time
- ThunderClap & Thunderwave
- Ledu has two ultimate attacks. ThunderClap (Biped stance) and Thunderwave (Quad stance)
- Thunderclap is a disorientating sonic boom that briefly stuns enemies making them unable to attack briefly, and grounds fliers
- Thunderwave discharges the kinetic energy in Ledu’s forearms into the ground as electricity, shocking enemies similarly to electric eels or cnidaria
- Thunderwave also can be utilized to "defibrillate" unconscious allies. This scales directly with your Ledu’s stamina. The higher the stamina, the more effective it is at decreasing an unconscious ally’s torpidity
