What’s New (besides cards, duh!)
- New Mechanic: Twinspell - Casting this adds another copy of the card (without Twinspell) to your hand.
- Lackeys - Special token minions which are generated through other cards. They are 1/1 minions with "devious" battlecries
- More Lackeys will be added throughout the YotD, and Lackey generating cards will have their pools updated
- Schemes - Cards which grow in power as they sit in your hand each turn.
- They also mentioned old mechanics returning.
- They’ve already shown us a Forbidden card (WotOG mechanic)
- There will be no Hero cards in this set

- The first chapter of the solo adventure. (Remaining 4 wings available for gold or $20)
- A legendary card before pre-release begins, playable before the expansion hits.

Lackeys are pulled from a new pool of 1 Mana 1/1 minions. Kobold Lackey Battlecry: Deal 2 damage. Faceless Lackey Battlecry: Summon a random 2-Cost minion. Goblin Lackey Battlecry: Give a friendly minion +1 Attack and Rush. Witchy Lacky BC: Transform a friendly minion into one that costs (1) more. Ethereal Lackey BC: Discover a spell. | Schemes upgrade each turn. Starts once it’s in your hand. Hagatha’s specifically: 2nd turn: 2 damage 3rd turn: 3 damage Counts as an end of turn effect, so can be impacted by Drakkari Enchanter Schemes added to your hand via things like Krag’wa come in base form | Upon playing this card, you will receive two discover interfaces containing Shaman spells. Choose one from each selection and then when you play the generated minion that was added to your hand, it will also play those spells! You get to choose the targets for the cast spells. Note: If the first spell is targeted, you will only get non-target spells in your second discover. They count as cast by the Horror, so don’t interact with minions like Electra. Shudderwock will copy the Horror’s battlecry and cast the same spells. |

Game Improvements
- Hearthstone's app size is now smaller - It will be necessary to re-download app data, but Hearthstone will take up a lot less space now!
- Reconnect Improvements – Players attempting to reconnect to matches should now have a smoother overall experience.
- Reroll Legendary Quests – To give players more freedom over how they’ll be rewarded while playing Hearthstone, we have now added the ability to reroll legendary quests (Special event quests, Expansion launch quests, etc.) into standard daily quests.
- Random Card Back Selector – Let the Innkeeper curate your card back collection. Select the Random card back for a deck, and a random card back from your Collection will be chosen each time you play.
- Golden Heroes Now Count Arena Wins – Go for the gold in the Arena! We are updating the 500 Wins requirement for Golden Heroes to include Arena wins along with Ranked wins.
- NOTE: This will only apply towards Arena wins earned after this update is live. Any past Arena wins will not count towards the 500 Wins total.
- Complete My Deck – Hearthstone’s better at helping you build decks than ever before.
- Helps you build established, proven decks using your collection.
- If you’re short of an established deck, the helper will help you choose the strongest stand-alone cards from what you have available.
- Trigger Rules Update - We're updating the rules regarding how Poisonous, Lifesteal, and Overkill keywords work in specific cases, to make cards behave in a more intuitive way. SPECIFICS?! Damn you Patch Notes Steve! Nevermind, got confirmation from Team 5 that more information is coming in regards to this particular update.
