2. Account Creation

To create an account on TeamingUp, users are required to provide a valid .edu email address and set a password. This process is designed to ensure that only university students can access the app. We do not collect any additional personal information during account creation.

3. Photo Library Permission

TeamingUp requests permission to access your device's photo library for the sole purpose of allowing users to set a custom profile picture. Users have the option to approve or reject this request. TeamingUp does not access or store any other photos from your device without your explicit consent.

4. Use of Information

TeamingUp uses the information provided during account creation (i.e., .edu email) solely for the purpose of verifying university student status and facilitating communication within the app. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties.

5. Profile Information

Users have the option to provide additional profile information, such as a display name and interests. This information is visible to other TeamingUp users to facilitate social interactions within the app.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to secure your information and protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

TeamingUp reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy within the app.
